The brace can be used if only one-sided complaints to the nail or if a part of the nail plate is missing. Another argument for the use is strong pressure from the neighbouring toe, which could lead to friction pain. In general, the bending force is limited compared to the full clasp, since the exposed leg is glued only flat. The brace is very gentle and can be used very well on thin or baby nails. Sterilisable.
